vehicles kalaburagiKalaburagi: The police in Kalaburagi seized 120 vehicles on Sunday, March 29, for violating the lockdown orders issued by the district administration.

People are allowed to leave their homes only for essential or emergency work, informed the DCP.

Meanwhile, even in the Dakshina Kannada district, police have warned that the vehicles of those who are caught taking joy-rides during the lockdown will be seized. Police all over the country are being forced to take harsh steps to enforce the lockdown as many people have been flouting the rules.

It can be recalled that on March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
