Kalaburgi: A group of individuals attacked a few Dalits for allegedly asking for water in a hotel at Bhusanooru village in Aland Taluk.
It is alleged that a clash had occurred between the Dalits and members of some other group at Gola Lakkamma Jatre. While returning from the temple fair, the Dalits asked for water at Bhusanuru village. It was at that time that a gang of at least 30 members attacked Dalits.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and Dalit leaders paid a visit to the victims.
Nimbarga police have registered a case in this regard.
