Chincholi: The Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa criticised the Congress and Janata Dal (S) state coalition government here on Monday, May 6, stating that government didn’t exist at all.

Speaking to the media, he said that the state coalition government had perished as it was not acting promptly and swiftly towards resolving the water crisis in over 170 towns.

He alleged, “Instead of resolving the water crisis, the government is busy in transfer business. It has not concentrated on any developmental projects.”

He slammed Public Works Department (PWD) Minister H D Revanna stating, “He must mind his own business instead of poking his nose in every department and ministry.”

Meanwhile, he said that the request of including Koli community into Scheduled Tribe (ST) category was already ready and that after the general elections, he would speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.

BSY was in town for campaigning in favour of BJP Chincholi Assembly candidate Dr. Avinash Jadhav, son of Dr. Umesh Jadhav, who is the party candidate for Lok Sabha from the same constituency.
