Kalaburgi: In yet another controversial statement, chief of the Rashtriya Hindu Sena, the parent organisation of Sri Ram Sena, Pramod Muthalik has said that boots would be stuffed in the mouths of anybody who comes asking for votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the next elections.
Speaking during the ‘Virat Hindu Samavesha’ which was held on Monday, July 1 at Mannoor village in Afzalpur taluk, Muthalik said, “Boots will be stuffed in the mouth of anybody who asks for votes taking Modi’s name. What kind of development have you done in the district? Don’t you have shame? The people have cast their votes only for Modi and Hindutva. So keep your mouth shut and work towards development for the next 5 years.”
The video of his controversial statement has gone viral on social media.
Muthalik gained media attention when Ram Sena activists led an attack on a Mangalore pub in 2009. Muthalik defended the attack saying that girls going to pub was against Indian culture.
