Are you a fan of the Final Destination series? If yes, then you must have watched a scene in the fifth installation of the series where a bridge collapses into the water. The scene is quite scary and sets the mood of the entire movie.

Well, something quite similar happened today in Taiwan, when a bridge collapsed as an oil tanker was trying to cross it. Because of the collapse, the truck went crashing onto the fishing boats below, injuring at least 14 people, according to local reports.

Reportedly, the 460-ft-long Nanfang’ao Bridge collapsed at about 9.30 am in Nanfang’ao Fishing Port in Su’ao Township of Yilan county. The bridge was completed in 1998 and spanned a water body in the fishing village.

The video of the bridge collapsing is going viral online and it is the scariest thing you will see today.

In the video, one can see that an entire stretch of the bridge suddenly collapses, sending huge waves into the water. The bridge was near a dock, so boats were also below it when it collapsed. Even the oil tanker crashed onto a fishing boat trapping many people.

According to The Independent, people are feared to have been trapped under the bridge and many have been injured.

A day before the incident happened, the area was hit by Typhoon Mitag. After the video went viral online, a lot of people prayed for the victims and for everyone’s safety.
