On February 27, K C Naik will receive an honorary doctorate from the Mangalore University.

Naik has been mirrored in the five-storied marvelous temple built within a record time of just 15 months. Shakthinagar, situated at the outskirts of the coastal city of Mangaluru, had the choicest blessings of having a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Krishna built there.
He is married to Saguna C Naik and together, they have two children. His daughter, Ramya Naik is married and has been settled in the USA for the past several years. His son Sanjith Naik, who has taken over as the Executive Director of Mahabaleshwara Promoters & Builders Pvt. Ltd., is a qualified architect from the Manipal Institution of Technology and also holds an MBA – from Texas State University – San Marcos, USA.
A well travelled man and enthusiastic golfer; served as Captain of the Mangalore Golf Club.
K.C.Naik established Shakthi Education Trust (R) in the year 2015 and started Shree Gopalakrishna Pre Primary School in Shakthinagar to impart quality education to children. A group of well qualified and trained teachers train the children with dedication and motherly love. The intake of children is 30 per division with three sections.

The foundation was laid for Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi P.U.College in 2018. The campus is unique and is covered with greenery.
