Surathkal: Hindu Vidyadayini Sangh and Idya Vidyadayini Higher Primary School will be celebrating their centenary year celebrations.
A commemoration programme will be held as a tribute to B V Krishnaiah and P Narayana Achar, two stalwarts who strove for the development of the school after its inception in 1916, on March 23 at 5.30 pm.
MLC Ganesh Karnik will be the chief guest of the programme while H Nirmala Rao, Vyasrao B and Shantha N Achar will be guests of honour. P Rajan Rao will preside.
Apart from this, sports meet for teaching and non-teaching staff of Vidyadayini Institutions will be held from 2.30 pm to 5pm.
Formal stage programme will be held from 5.30 to 6.30 pm.
From 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm teachers of the institution will stage play.
