Mangaluru: A state level academic exhibition “EDU EXPO” is being organised by the Prestige International School & PU College from January 20-21 between 9.30 AM and 6 PM at School Auditorium, Jeppinamogaru, Mangalore.
The main purpose of the expo is aiding the development of unaided schools of rural area by offering them the necessary guidance for their overall development.
Mohammed Beary, President DK Schools Association and Capt. Brijesh Chouta, President, Mangalore Kambala Committee will be the chief guests at the exhibition.
During the programme, a “State Level Prestige Talent Search Exam” will be conducted on Sunday, January 21 at the Prestige School Auditorium. About 200 students, 73 principals, 73 teachers from 13 districts of Karnataka state will participate in the same. The main purpose of the talent search is to hunt for talented students and to award them.
Under Academic Excellence–Best Student, Best Principal and Best Teacher awards will conferred.
Cash rewards of Rs 10,000 will be given to Best Principal and Rs 5,000 to Best Teacher. Similarly, best student prize carries Rs 25000 for first prize, Rs 10,000 for second prize and Rs 5,000 for third prize.
This award programme will be continued in the coming years too and not be limited to the year 2018.
