Channarayapatna: Zee Kannada’s 'Dance Karnataka Dance' has carved a niche for itself over the years, and has now reached its final destination! The third season of this signature dance reality show by Zee Kannada promises to end with a bang this weekend with awestruck performances by our favourite contenders. A whopping crowd of 35,000 made an appearance in Channarayapatna, Hassan district.
Hosted by the multitalented leading anchor Anushree, DKD Little Masters has touched the hearts of every household in Karnataka. The esteemed panel of judges including Crazy Queen Rakshitha, who created a whirlwind in Kannada film industry, Magical Composer Arjun Janya and Chinnari Muttha Vijay Raghavendra, a proponent actor, singer, and dancer, have contributed to the success of yet another season with their valued advice to the contenders.
The Jury members, Deepkshith Shetty from Naagini, Hithesh Kumar from Comedy Khiladigalu, Sinmah from ji maha Jodi, Apartment Gowdru and Anusha from Shrimaan Shrimathi, and Sunil Gujagonda from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, cheered through the final act of the contenders.
The 12 little celebrities who had already won the hearts of the people of Karnataka by participating in Drama Juniors, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, and other serials, are the leading contestants of this season. After a successful dance journey of 15 weeks, Jnaneshwar-Lahari, Srujan-Aishwarya, Preetham-Anshika and Suraj-Shravya have reached the final league of Little Masters Season 3 that consist of 2 rounds.
Round one, pre-finale contained mind-blowing performances by all 4 pairs where Suraj-Shravya performed to the track Jai Ho with 65 dancers completing a categorical round of cultural and traditional aspects that included various dance forms like, Yakshagana, Dollu Kunitha, Bharatanatyam, and Bhangra, that mesmerized the viewers to request Suraj-Shravya to perform once-more. Srujan-Aishwarya’s majestic performance on a fusion track emulated the elements of nature. Jnaneshwar-Lahari dedicated their act to Dr.Vishnuvardhan, the legendary Actor and Director in the Kannada film industry, where they gave the viewers a terrific performance on the track Simhadriya Simha that included exhilarating stunts. Preetham-Anshika performed to a song about Mahabharata, wooing the audiences as they played the role of Arjuna and Krishna, concluding to a powerful message regarding the respect a woman demands.
The night brought in all the contestants of Season 3 for a special come-back performance, heightening the entertainment quotient of the grand finale. Vijay Raghavandra gave the audience an epic performance by enacting dialogues from Kotigobba. Apartment Gowdru and Anushree also joined the bandwagon by enacting the proposal scene from Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari, substituting ragi mudde with the flowers.
Three out of the four most-exceptional contenders made it to rounds two, the final round, where the choreographers were given the task of bringing using the most-challenging props on-stage for the concluding round! This resulted in never-seen-before spectacular performances by participants. A pair performed to a track by V. Ravichandran, mirroring the actual set-performance, by bringing-in 2 cars on stage. The excitement building further along with rigour of the performances, a boat was brought on-stage for yet another breath-taking performance. The finale was worth the wait with the crowd wanting more at 1 AM, persuading Rakshitha Prem to request Arjun Janya and Anushree to go the boat and enthral the audience.
The night came to an end with special performance by the judges Rakshitha, Arjun Janya, Vijay Raghavendra, including the host Anushree, is sure to make this Grand Finale a memorable one!
