prabhakar koreDharwad: BJP leader, MP Prabhakar Kore is in the news for the wrong reasons. His statement about Trinamool Congress leader, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has now led to a controversy and Kore has received a lot of flak for the same.

On Saturday, while addressing a public rally in Dharwad, Kore stated that if Banerjee becomes Prime Minister of the country, all the women will be forced to wear sarees like her. About Mayawati, he said that if she becomes Prime Minister, all statues of national leaders will disappear and only statues of elephants will be seen everywhere.

His statements did not go down well with the people and many have accused him of criticising women leaders in bad taste.
