Parishioners of St Francis Xavier’s Church show solidarity with Lankan blast victims

Mangaluru: St Francis Xavier’s Church, Bejai, under the leadership of Youth Welfare Committee and Indian Catholic Youth Movement, organised a prayer to show solidarity with the victims of the terror attack in Sri Lanka, on Monday, April 29, after the evening Mass at 5.30 PM.

The condolence ceremony began with a prayer service led by Rev. Fr. Vinod Lobo.

Parish priest Rev. Fr. Wilson Vitus D’Souza gave a short message to the gathering.

Later, a silent candle walk was organised, and all the parishioners joined in the procession.

At the end, the lit candles were placed around the poster of Sri Lanka. Personal prayers were made by the gathering after the ceremony inside the Church.
