Mangaluru: The annual staff conference of the Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank Ltd. was held on June 22 at the Milagres Senate Hall here.
Rev. Fr. Vijay Victor Lobo, Procurator of the Mangalore Diocese, conducted the prayer service and in his speech called upon the Bank staff to be service-oriented and to offer quality service to all sections of the society.
Stephen Pinto, ex-functional director of the bank, presented a talk on Growth and Future Plans for the Bank for the year 2019-20. He analysed the past growth for the year 2018-19 and emphasized that the staff should give more priority CASA Account and promote ATM cards and mobile banking to the customers. He opined that atleast 25% growth would be ideal for the Bank to achieve the future Goals.
Dy Commisioner of Police, Hanumantharaya, in his address to the gathering emphasized on the security aspect in the banking sector and called upon the staff to be more vigilant and cautious when offering services to the public. He also suggested that the bank take precautionary steps to avoid cyber crimes.
General Manager, Sunil Menezes, stressed upon the working environment and called upon all the staff to unitedly work hard and put extra efforts to attain the given target.
Chairman, Anil Lobo, in his message directed the staff to work proactively for the betterment of the Bank and to have a positive approach towards the customers.
Director Irene Rebello compeered the conference. Jude Jerald Dsilva, vice chairman, of the bank welcomed the gathering and presented the purpose of Annual staff Conference – 2019. General Manager Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks.
