Molakalmuru: Just a day after raids were conducted at a resort and hotel owned by Congress leader Anand Singh, income tax officials, on Tuesday night gave a jolt to Badami and Molakalmuru BJP candidate, MP Sriramulu and other BJP leaders.
According to the sources, IT officials raided a resort and hotel where Sriramulu stayed at Molakalmuru and examined the location. Close associates of Sriramulu, Molakalmuru taluk BJP President T Revanna’s outhouse, Dodda Ullarthi house of Dhananjaya Reddy were raided and documents reviewed.
IT officials also conducted a raid on Channagiri BJP candidate Madal Viroopakshappa’s residence in Davanagere and reviewed the documents. It may be recalled that soon after Badami IT raids, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s said that BJP has fear of losing and challenged to conduct IT raid on BJP leaders’ also.
