It will be the first endowment department managed temple to adopt schools. Under this initiative, the temple trust will provide all the basic amenities to the school and the students.

A decision in this regard was taken in the MM Hills development authority meeting held on Wednesday late evening. Meeting was chaired by CM BS Yediyurappa and Education minister S Suresh Kumar was present.

In the meeting, it was also decided to build a 30-bed hospital atop the MM hills to help the locals get quality medical care.

It can be recalled that MM hills temple is one of the richest temples in the state.

CM BSY is visiting Chamarajanagar district for the first time as the CM. It is said that the CM was skipping visit to the district due to a belief that those in power vsiting the district head quarters will lose the post.
