Chamarajanagar: Chamarajanagar’s local MLA and former Minister in charge of the district, C. Puttarangashetty tested positive for Covid-19.
A few days ago, MLA C. Puttarangashetty had requested a vote in favour of Congress for the by-election in the state and travelled across the state including the districts of Belgaum, Muski and Basavakalyana. After completing the election campaign, he arrived at the Uppinaole residence of Yalandur Taluk in the Chamarajanagar district.
C. Puttaranashetti, who was campaigning for the neighbouring district, gave his samples for a Covid-19 test, and the results came as positive. He is currently in his home in isolation.
