Chamarajanagar: K. Kunal, Tahsildar of the Kollegala along with health and police officials, has warned vendors in the wake of reports of selling chocolate gels in syringes.
In the wake of the news that chocolate gels are being sold in syringe models to attract the children in the town of Kollegala, deputy commissioner Dr. M.R. Ravi ordered the tahsildar to take necessary action regarding this.
Accordingly, Tahsildar K. Kunal met with the officials of the municipal council, police, and doctors to inspect the Manjunatha Nagar and Nurmohalla of Kollegala.
On finding that some shops are selling chocolate gel in syringe models, Tahsildar warned that legal action would be taken if they continued to sell such sweet and chocolate gels. Parents and children have been told not to buy syringes filled with such gels, Kunal added.
