He gave a special lecture at the Webinar programme on ‘Digital Media Writing Format’ organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at SDM PG Centre.
A deep study is necessary before writing on any concerns of the society. Study inspires prudence and rationality in our writing. He said, “Effective writing is possible only by reading from a different perspective, thinking and researching”.
“In today’s competitive world, creativity is the top priority. We must take advantage of every opportunity available in this proactive environment. Writers should be away from the partisan viewpoint. We should keep ourselves away from the lures of desire and greed” he said.
In the modern age, there is no dearth of opportunities. He said that the skills of writing, the way of presenting the subject, handling challenges and the occasional acumen facilitates in climbing the steps of success. In order to survive in the media field and to achieve success, one needs to acquire the required capability in the new technology and develop a proper understanding of the current affairs, he added.
