Mangalore: A Two-day National-level Seminar on ‘Social relevance of contemporary Hindi literature’ was inaugurated by the Hindi Department of University College Mangalore on Friday.
In her inaugural speech, Smt. Chandrakanth, Gurugram of Hariyana explained how literature of modern day can be more critical. In her Presidential speech Mangalore University Vice Chancellor (incharge) alos said how literature can be effective on religious beliefs and women empowerment.
Prof. Prabha Bhat of Karnataka University, Dr. Shridhar Hegde of FMKMC College, Madikeri, A M Khan, Mangalore University Registrar A M, Dr. Uday Kumar M A, College Principal, Dr. Nagarathna N Rao, Hindi Department Head, Dr. Suma T R and others were also present.
