Mangaluru: Department of Political Science of St Agnes College (Autonomous), in association with Citizens Forum for Mangalore Development organized a talk on ‘Rights on Lands and Corporate Responsibility’ on Thursday, January 17, in the college Conference hall.
Ute Ritz, Deutch of Amnesty International, USA and a renowned human rights activist was the Guest speaker. She addressed regarding significance of land rights and various issues of the violation of land rights.
The session was open to NGO’S, farmers associations, students and social activists.
Lwarence D’cunha, Secretary, ‘Krishi Bhoomi Samrakshana Samithi’ was the Guest of honour. Ms Vidya Dinkar, social activist moderated the interactive session.
Sr. Dr Jeswina A.C. Principal St Agnes College presided over the programme. Rhia hosted the programme.
