Mangaluru: SDM Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru, in association with Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, organized ‘Swacch Mangaluru Campaign’ introducing the Pot composting concept which is already in practice.
The speciallity of Pot Compost concept is that it comprises of three specially designed pots which converts all kitchen waste into manure in a short period of time without any external intervention.
The convenors Umanath Kotekar and Sachin Shetty gave a deeper insight into Swacch Mangaluru Campaign and Pot Composting. The programme brought a positive notion in the minds of the faculty and thereby place an order for pots at the nominal price.
Director Dr. Seema S Shenoy gave a presidential remark. Programme co-ordinator Ramya Shetty welcomed the gathering. All the staffs were present during the programme.
