Passport Seva Kendra and SDM PG Centre Bond with ‘Student Connect’ Programme

Mangaluru: As part of the ‘Student Connect’ initiative introduced by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, a workshop was conducted by the Passport Seva Kendra, Mangaluru, for the benefit of management students at SDM PG Centre, Mangaluru on February 21, 2019.

Speaking on the occassion, Nagaraj Bhat, Manager at Passport Seva Kendra, Mangaluru, said “Passport Seva Kendra is a one stop place for all queries regarding issue or renewal of passports.”

Students were oriented on the importance of approaching the Kendra directly for their passports, and were advised to avoid dealing with agents who may be making false promises of getting the passports done quickly, even without proper documents.

Nagaraj Bhat also said that the new process was aimed at students comfort and improvement in delivery of services.

Representatives of Passport Seva Kendra, Mangalore Manjunath Raichur, Team Leader and Roshan Shetty, Service Executive helped students in verification of documents.

Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Director, SDM PG Centre, Mangaluru was present on the occasion. Dr. Harshitha and Deepa Nayak P, Assistant Professors, co-ordinated the workshop. Leona Strelita compeered the programme.
