Mangaluru: Students from the Mangaluru Institute of Fire and Safety Engineering (MIFSE), along with Lions Club (Bendorewell) and Kudla Club members, participated in a blood donation drive organised by Tejaswini Hospital, Mangaluru on September 18.
MIFSE students donated nearly 50 units of blood at the drive. This is the 208th blood donation camp organised by Lions Club members.
Kanachuru Hospital Professor Dr UdayaShankar Shetty briefed the gathering about low-sugar health conditions. In her address, Link Drugs Rehabilitation Centre head Lydia Lobo informed the donors about the ill-effects of drug consumption and addiction.
