The institute has walked an extra mile and partnered with many leading industries to give the best to the students. The purpose of education is to make every individual responsible, accountable and answerable to himself. When every citizen of India starts to ask himself what have I done for the nation instead of asking what have I got from the nation, the true realization of ‘Atm Nirbhar Bharat’ happens”. He congratulated the Management for thinking out of the box and partnering with industries and thus bridging the gap between the training and actual industrial requirements.

The signed agreement copy of the partnership venture was handed over by Dr F Joseph Stanley, General Secretary of SKIP to Rev Fr Cyril Dmello SJ, Director of the institution.

Addressing the gathering Mr Suhas Shenoy, Technical Coordinator of SELCO programme said, “SELCO has been into the manufacturing of Solar electric appliances. As a part of the service mission, we are talking to the people, especially in the rural areas and underprivileged and coming out with the innovative and cheaper solutions for their needs, thus making their life easier. The mission is being carried out not only in India, but also in other countries as well”. He urged the students to make the best of the opportunities life presents to them and grow. He also said ITIs could change the lives of millions as the ITI graduates have plenty of job opportunities available.

Dr F. Joseph Stanley was felicitated by Rev Fr Melwyn Pinto SJ-Rector of St Aloysius Institutions for his association with the institution and great service through SKIP. Receiving the felicitation Dr Stanley said, “My heart carries a special place for St Aloysius ITI. This institution is selflessly dedicated to the betterment of youth, especially the underprivileged. It has been a model institution to the ITIs. It is constantly evolving and adapting to the changes and provides the best of the best training to the students. It is an honour to be associated with such an institution”.
