Vijayapura: Expressing his dismay over the CM’s style of functioning, BJP MLA, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has written a letter to State President, Nalin Kumar Kateel.
The CM has not kept his promise and no funds have been released to his constituency, despite assurance to release development funds for Bijapur, he stated in the letter.
He accused the CM of avoiding him despite visiting Bengaluru to meet the CM.
Yatnal raised the issue of delay in releasing funds for his constituency while referring to the divisional level meeting held with the MLAs chaired by CM himself in the past.
Despite the CM himself instructing the officials, the promised funds for the district haven’t been released yet.
He added that several other legislators are discontented with delay in the release of funds.
“Since CM is not meeting the legislators in Bengaluru, I think it is because of his health issues”, he said in a sarcastic remark.
Yatnal also remarked that CM’s decision to appoint the Chairman for Boards and Corporations without consulting the BJP MLA’s has hurt teh feelings of several legislators. legislators.
He has urged Kateel to call for legislators’ meeting on January 5 and 6 to resolve the issues.
It should be noted that this, not the first time Yatnal has accused the CM. He also accused CM’s son Vijayendra of interfering with administrative works.
