Ballari: It seems like the suggestions, recommendations and pressure from the Bharatiya Janata Party members and leaders on their high command is not yet over, as MLA Somashekhar Reddy has batted for state health minister Sreeramulu to become the district in-charge minister.
Speaking during the occasion of Valmiki Jayanthi on Sunday, he said, “It will be better if Sreeramulu is given charge of the Ballari district instead of Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi. If Sreeramulu becomes the district in-charge minister, it will be helpful for the development of the district.”
“Laxman Savadi is basically from Belagavi, because of which he is not able to visit the district every now and then and take decisions regarding the developmental projects,” he explained.
