Ballari: According to the announcement made by chief minister BS Yediyurappa, the Department of Kannada and Culture has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 3000 to financially distressed artists.
Siddalinghesh Rangannavar, assistant director of the Kannada and Culture Department stated that the financially distressed artists can apply through the Sevasindhu portal. The last date to apply for this assistance is fixed as June 5. Artists above 35 years of age with at least 10 years of art service experience are eligible to apply.
