Hospet: Nearly 70 houses have been damaged due to cyclonic rains in the district that occurred on Monday, April 29 night.
The devastating cyclonic rains has not only damaged the houses but has also injured many.
Around 53 houses in Kadalabalu village and 4 in Bannigola village of Hagaribommanahalli town limits, 6 houses in Gudekote village of Kudligi and Byalalu, 4 in Dibbadahalli, Mudlapur Tanda of Huvina Hadagali and Hadagali town limits, have been damaged.
Around 6 people are reportedly injured in the Byalalu village.
Siriguppa, Sandur and other parts of the district too have experienced drizzles.
