Belagavi: As the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition leaders are fearing of “Operation Lotus” by the Bharatiya Janata Party anytime soon, State Forest Minister Satish Jarkiholi has hinted that the rebel Congress leaders might have already begun ‘resort politics’.
Addressing the media, here on Sunday, May 26, he hinted that there might be around four Congress leaders who have already begun resort politics and that the information on their whereabouts was still a suspense.
He has opined that although the rebel Congress leaders and the BJP were busy in “Operation Lotus”, nothing of that sort would affect the state coalition government and that it would continue for the next four years without any hiccups.
With regards to a lot of opposition in the coalition, especially by the Congress leaders on H D Kumaraswamy continuing as the chief minister, Satish said, “There is no question of a change in the CM. HDK will continue as the CM and there is no need for him to resign. We all stand by him and that is the same conclusion that we all came to in the cabinet meeting.”
Meanwhile, he has said that resignation of some of the Congress leaders and accepting the same was left to the party.
