Belagavi: KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao has confessed that rebel Congress leader Ramesh Jarakiholi and his four associate MLAs are not in touch with him or any of the other KPCC leaders.
Speaking to reporters in Belagavi, Rao informed that the party is following Jarakiholi and his associates’ activities closely. “We will take action against them at the appropriate time,” he said.
It can be recalled that the Belagavi and Chikkodi Congress leaders are afraid that Ramesh may play ruin the party’s chances in the Lok Sabha election by supporting the BJP’s candidates.
Regarding the recent IT raids on various leaders, Rao accused the BJP’s central leadership of using the IT and ED departments against the Congress out of fear of defeat in the election.
On the issue of B L Santhosh’s “genes and DNA” statement, he asked that if DNA and genes don’t matter to the BJP, on what basis was B Y Raghavendra given a ticket? “DNA and genes matter in the BJP,” he chided.
