Belagavi: As a clear indication that all is not well within the Congress party in the state, BJP senior leader Prabhakar Kore stated that former minister and Congress MLA from Gokak, Ramesh Jarakiholi is campaigning for the BJP in the Chikkodi and Belagavi Lok Sabha constituencies.
Speaking to reporters in Belagavi, he stated that the Congress is a divided house in the Belagavi and Chikkodi constituencies. “Ramesh is supporting the BJP and the party candidates will win,” he stated.
He also stated that the Congress organisation is shattered across the North Karnataka region and that the party has no future.
Kore’s statement came as a big shocker for the Congress in the two constituencies.
