Belagavi: The Karnataka Lingayat Education Society (KLE), which runs educational institutions in Maharastra, Uttara Pradesh and other states across the country, has decided to open an educational institution even in the Kashmir region.
An announcement in this regard was recently made by BJP MP and KLE working president Prabhakara Kore.
Speaking after unfurling the tri-colour at the KLE engineering college in Chikkodi, Kore stated that the KLE society is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the Kashmiri residents.
“We will follow the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extend our educational service everywhere,” he said.
Terming the Central government’s decision to scrap article 370 and 35A “historical”, he said that the moment was historic for him in a personal way as well, as he had also signed the order.
