Belagavi: Belagavi south MLA and BJP leader Abhay Patil dumped a full tractor load of garbage in front of Belagavi City Corporation commissioner K.H. Jagadish’s residence.
The MLA took a tractor to the commissioner’s house in Vishveshwaranagar and scattered the waste around the residence.
Patil justified his action by saying in his constituency garbage collection and disposal is not proper causing problem for the residents. He also stated that three months ago, he instructed BCC officials to keep the city clean. However, the officers ignored his orders. He said that he threw garbage in front of BCC commissioner K H Jagadish’s house in protest of officers’ negligence.
If officials continue to act in this manner, the MLA warned that he would throw garbage in front of the deputy commissioner’s house in the future.
