With 1,105 new COVID positive cases, K’taka tally reaches 14,295

Bengaluru: Bengaluru Urban continues to register highest number of COVID positive cases in the state. For the second consecutive day, Bengaluru Urban registered over 700 cases, taking the total positive cases in the district to 4,052.

The state registered a total of 1,105 cases on Monday, taking the total tally to 14,295. The state also witnessed 19 deaths on Monday, taking the total COVID fatalities to 226 in the state.

The deaths have been reported from Bengaluru Urban (3), Ballari (12), Bagalkote (1), Ramanagar (1), DAkshina Kannada (1), Hassan (1).

Districts that registered positive cases are Ballari (76), Dakshina Kannada (32), Bidar (28), Uttara Kannada (24), Kalaburgi (23), Hassan and Vijayapura (22 each), Tumakuru and Udupi (18 each), Dharwad and Chikkamagaluru (17 each), Chikkaballapura (15), Yadagiri (9), Mandya (8), Mysuru (6), Shivamogga (5), Raichuru, Bagalkote, Gadag, Kolara (4 each), Bengaluru Rural (3), Davangere, ramanagara, Chitradurga (2 each), Haveri and Kodagu (1 each).
