Ballari: B L Santosh, BJP national general secretary (organisation) continues to make provocative statements during his visit to the state. Most recently, while speaking to reporters after visiting a Hanuman temple in Moka of the taluk, he stated that the Hindu religion continues to face attacks from a few miscreants of other religions. He warned that if this continues, they “know to how to set fire as Hanuman did in Sri Lanka”.
“We treat everyone with respect and this is being taken for granted,” he said.
Speaking about the Ram Mandir, he said that he prays to the Gods to allow the construction of the temple to begin in Ayodhya soon.
“We are hopeful that the construction of the Rama Mandir will begin soon. We say this because the truth is on our side,” he said.
