Bengaluru: Hitting out at party senior leader from Bengaluru Roshan Baig, Urban development minister UT Khader hoped that Baig remains well within the Congress folds and does not join the BJP
Khader, who is camping in New Delhi stated that Baig’s open statement against the party leaders has sent the wrong signal to the voters.
“No injustice has been done to the minorities in the Lok Sabha election ticket distribution. At the meeting of the minority leaders, party leaders assured MLCs and Rajya Sabha seats to the communities. Baig is aware of this. Still, he is making such a statement which is irresponsible,” he said.
“It was the Congress, which saved Baig when the BJP was attacking him. I wish he will change his decision and apologise for his statement,” he said.
