Bengaluru: In a curious turn to the allegations that six SDPI activists, who were arrested by the Bengaluru police, allegedly confessed that they hatched a conspiracy to murder Bengaluru South MP Tejaswi Surya and Chakravarthy Sulibele, the accused didn’t confess anything substantial in their confession statement to the police.
According to the sources, in the original confession statement, the accused didn’t mention that they were planning to murder the two, but in the police chargesheet, it has been alleged that the SDPI members had hatched a murder plot of two Hindu leaders-Surya and Sulibele.
Meanwhile, the city police intensified security cover around the residence and office of Tejasvi Surya in Bengaluru South. Mufti police have been pressed into service to keep an eye on the movement of suspicious persons.
