Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 8,364 new COVID-19 cases and 114 COVID-related deaths on Saturday, September 19. In addition, a whopping 10,815 recovered from the disease.
With these figures, the total number of confirmed COVID cases in the state has risen to 5,11,346 while the recoveries rose to 4,04,841. As many as 98,564 active cases are being monitored in the state. The total number of COVID-related deaths has risen to 7,922, said a bulletin from the state’s health department.
New cases were recorded from Bagalkote (152), Ballari (300), Belagavi (100), Bengaluru Rural (189), Bengaluru Urban (3,722), Bidar (23), Chamarajanagar (72), Chikaballpura (89), Chikkamagaluru (165), Chitradurga (84), Dakshina Kannada (432), Davangere (163), Dharawad (264), Gadag (391), Hasan (19), Haveri (107), Kalaburgi (110), Kodagu (38), Kolar (91), Koppala (96), Mandya (94), Mysuru (626), Raichur (156), Ramanagara (47), Shivamogga (106), Tumkuru (159), Udupi (215), Uttara Kannada (129), Vijayapura (87), and Yadgir (127).
Deaths were reported from Bagalkot (1), Ballari (7), Belagavi (6), Bengaluru Urban (33), Chamarajanagara (7), Chikkamagaluru (1), Dakshina Kannada (5), Davangere (3), Dharwad (5), Hassan (5), Haveri (2), Kalaburgi (3), Koppala (7), Mandya (2), Mysuru (12), Raichur (1), Shivamogga (1), Tumkuru (4), Udupi (1), Uttarakannada (6), and Vijayapura (2).
