Bangalore: The State government will soon appoint 16200 teachers before October 2014 as there is lack of 28 thousand teachers in primary as well as secondary education department, said Primary and Secondary Education minister Kimmane Rarthnakar.
Speaking in the assembly he said that already state govt has approved the appointintment of 11000 teachers. CM also has directed the department to appoint 5000 teachers.
Govt has given importance to quality education. Some places there are no teachers till then temporary system will be continued. TET exam has been conducted already to appoint teachers. “This will take place in different phases” he added.
In the assembly MLA Tukaram earlier had questioned the government about the lack of teachers in some places.
