Bengaluru: With sudden spike in the Covid 19 cases, the state government has decided to go extra mile to trace the infected persons. With the idea of improving the testing facilities, the state government proposed the idea of ‘Open Hospitals’ in all the districts.

These open hospitals will have trained doctors, paramedical staff and the swab collection points. These hospitals will come up in the isolated places.

According to health minister B Sreeramulu, these clinics will be set up exclusively for fever testing and tracing of the contacts if any one is found positive for Covid 19.

With the private clinics charging upto Rs.2,500 for the Covid 19 testing, the state government is now under pressure to improve the testing and treatment facilities.
