Bengaluru: As expected, the state government has handed over the multi-crore IMA scam case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This decision of the state government was communicated to the Karnataka High Court.
The government also informed the High Court that an order was issued in this regard on Monday by the state home department.
The High Court directed the CBI to file a progress report in connection with the investigation in a sealed cover by September 12.
The Court also directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to continue its investigation.
