Bengaluru: A religious leader who solemnized the religious conversion of actor and drug scandal accused Sanjjanaa Galrani into Islam informed media that she met him on October 9, 2018 and completed the conversion process.
According to the religious leader Mohammed Jalaluddin, a resident of Tannery road in the city, Sanjjanaa met him with two of her friends named Imtiyaj and Aslam Pasha.
“After verifying her affidavit, she was converted to Islam. Her name is Mahira,” he informed.
Meanwhile, a picture of her papers proving her conversion to Islam has been circulating on social media over the last few days.
Her real name was Archana Galrani, screen-name was Sanjjanaa.
This development is now expected to result in another round of war of words between ruling and opposition parties with RSS supported organisations blaming Drug Jihad in the state.
