Bengaluru: Rebel Congress leader Ramesh Jarakiholi met Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy late on Thursday night. This meeting came after major irrigation minister D K Shivakumar advised HDK to try to retain the Congress MLAs in the party itself to save the alliance government.
According to sources close to Ramesh Jarakiholi, the meeting lasted for over 30 minutes and both the leaders discussed about the issues to be resolved. If sources are to be believed, the CM is expected to meet the other disgruntled Congress MLAs too, in the coming days to put a fullstop to the efforts of the BJP to topple his government.
