Bengaluru: Heavy rains lash parts of the city on Tuesday leaving tens of houses waterlogged. Sarjapura road is the worst hit with Rajakaluve water entering the houses located in the low-lying areas.
According to the initial estimation, Rajakaluve water entered into around 30 houses. The BBMP rescue teams used the jet pumps to drain water.
The rain started around 8 pm and continued till the wee hours of Wednesday. The worst affected areas are Majestic, Shantinagar, Koramangala, Electronics city and surrounding areas.
Traffic jam continued in silk board junction till late night on Tuesday as the entire stretch was waterlogged.
IMD predicted more rains even on Wednesday night.
