Bengaluru: Covid cases have increased since April 2021 and with this, the need for covid recovered persons post 28 days to donate convalescent plasma is here again.

“Covid patients now advised for plasma therapy are in frantic search for convalescent plasma,” said Alphonse Kurien, chairman of the Lions Blood Line Sanjayanagar District, Bengaluru. Post covid vaccination deferral has also created a challenge and the only option here is for more eligible covid recovered persons to make plasma donation, he added.

He requested covid-recovered people to make a walk-in plasma donation at any plasma collection centere if they qualify.

For any assistance at Bengaluru for plasma donation, send a WhatsApp message to 9448812330
