Bengaluru: The high-end car ferrying Sharath A, son for revenue minister R Ashok, which met with an accident near the Mariyammanahalli village of the Ballari district, was moving at speeds of 120-130 kmph at the time of the incident.
This estimation has been made based on CCTV footage collected from the national highway.
It can be recalled that two persons, a minor boy and a youth, inside the car, died in the accident.
According to police, CCTV footage are now being collected to build a fool-proof case against Rahul, who has been named as accused no 1 for driving the car in a reckless manner.
It can be recalled that it has been alleged that Sharath Ashok was the one who was actually driving the car, however, minister R Ashok has denied this charge.
