Bengaluru: Compared to the state assembly election results of 2018, this time the official result announcement of the Lok Sabha polls will be delayed. According to the state election commissioner Sanjeev Kumar, the results will be out only after 3 pm.
Speaking to the reporters, he stated that the first official result is expected by 3 pm as the VVPAT may delay by four hours.
“By 6 pm, all the results may be announced. The counting will be done between 18 and 33 rounds. The highest number of rounds will be from Bengaluru central where 33 rounds of counting have been scheduled,” he said.
According to the authorities, in one hour, two to two and a half rounds of calculation can be completed. “By 1 pm, we can get a trend of a Lok Sabha constituency if the fight is not close,” explained another official.
The results of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls will be out tomorrow, May 23.
