Bengaluru: Amid growing rebel activities in the ruling BJP, the JDS which has 28 law makers in the state assembly decided not to topple the government.
Party Supremo HD Deve Gowda stated that he is confident that BS Yediyurappa led government will complete its term and party will not try to topple it.
“It is my wish that BSY should rule till May 2023. After that we can go for election,” he stated in Belagavi.
“Too many elections pose problems for the people. It will affect the developmental works also. Stability is key for any state,” he observed and also added that if the BSY government completes the term then even JDS party will get enough time to fortify the party.
He also stated that he will tour across the state soon to building the JDS from the grassroots level.
