K’taka’s COVID positive cases cross 25k mark; Bengaluru Urban crosses 10K mark

Bengaluru: The state crossed the 25k mark, on Monday, July 6 after registering 1,843 new COVID positive cases.

The total positive cases in the state stand at 25,317, while 30 persons died due to COVID on Monday, taking the total fatalities to 401.

COVID deaths have been registered in Bengaluru Urban (10), Bidar (7), Mysuru (3), Dakshina Kannada (2), and one case each in Davangere, Ballari, Bidar, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Bagalkote, Hassan and Kodagu.

As per the health bulletin, as many as 279 persons are in the ICU and 680 persons were discharged on Monday.
A total of 10,527 have recovered so far.

Bengaluru Urban crosses 10k mark

Bengaluru Urban alone has crossed the 10,000 mark by registering 680 new COVID positive cases on Monday. There are 14,385 active cases and 10,561 total positive cases in the district.

Other districts that have registered positive cases are Ballari (99), Uttara Kannada (81), Bengaluru Rural (68), Dharwada (56), Kalaburgi (53), Hassana (49), Mysuru (45), Bidar (44), Udupi (40), Mandya (39), Vijayapura (36), Yadagiri (35), Dakshina Kannada (34), Bagalkote (33), Tumakuru (31), Shivamogga (24), Gadag (18), Chamrajanagar (12), Ramanagara (11), Kolara (10), Haveri and Koppala (9 each), Chikkaballapur (7), Raichur and Chitradurga (6 each), Davangere (3), Chikkamagaluru and Kodagu (2).
