Bengaluru: Two days after the murder of two youth Congress workers by name Kripesh, 24, and Sarath Lal, 21, at Periya near Kasargod on Sunday night the Kerala police sought the help from their Karnataka counterparts in the investigation.
According to the sources, the senior police officers from Kerala are suspecting that the assailants may be hiding in Karnataka. “So the Kerala police have written a letter to the state police seeking their help in nabbing the culprits,” informed sources in the state home department.
The Kerala police are suspecting that the assailants are hiding either in Mangaluru or in Bengaluru. “To detain the accused at the earliest, police from both the states are working in coordination,” added sources.
