KCET to be held on July 30, 31: DCM Ashwath Narayana

Bengaluru: The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held in Karnataka on July 30 and 31, informed State higher Education Minister and DCM CN Ashwath Narayan.

Announcing the new dates, the minister stated that as per the original schedule, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) was supposed to conduct the test on April 23, 24 and 25.

However, the examination was postponed due to lockdown.

The state government also announced that the new academic year in the institutes of higher learning will start from September 1.

Meanwhile, the Minister said that in order to maintain social distancing, the test will be held in more exam centres this time.

The application process is still on and the last dates of Karnataka CET 2020 is May 18.

Interested can apply through the official website- kea.kar.nic.in.
